I picked you up from school. You’d drawn a dragon in a beehive. We needed to go get some stuff for dinner. You didn’t argue about it, we just went, you offered to carry the basket. We got lettuce, buns, hamburger and chips. The Ruffles were your idea, though we got Ripples for the savings.

We came home and you took your Youtube break. Then we worked through your math homework. We beat Shredders Revenge and unlocked Casey Jones. We’d been playing through it on easy mode, it’s been a cake walk until now, but the last boss took us a few tries to learn his patterns. I took a 45 minute nap on the couch while you played VR, then we did a couple pages from the doodle book your mom and you got me for my birthday. We were supposed to draw a dragon and what he was after. You drew a chunky little dragon. I drew BoBo’s BBQ.

I made dinner and you seemed to like the burgers. Afterwards you watched some Magic School Buss on the couch while I watched your sister. Eventually we all got into a big tickle fight though. It was a great way to end the evening. Mom put your sister to bed. We read for 20 minutes from IDW’s Ninja Turtles. Shredder just realized that the Rat Mutant he hoped to recruit was a reincarnated Hamato Yoshi.

You took your shower. We did a little pretend where you were a cute kitten mutant who’d just joined the foot clan. You were then sent to infiltrate the Turtles. We started Kipo over and watched an episode. You fell asleep.
